CrossFit is Fitness that has it’s foundations in movements that are all functionally based. They are natural movements we as humans do everyday and need to do in order to maintain our ability to move freely and remain healthy.

Variety is the spice of life and of fitness. The more variety and creativity that are placed into the workouts, the more your body will develop and grow stronger. Variety in exercises, sets, reps, weight, rounds, etc. is the key to developing every component of physical fitness.

The Fundamentals program at CrossFit Scotts Valley is designed for those who are new to CrossFit or those who feel the need for more help with the foundational movements. During these sessions you will be taught the lifts and exercises that we perform during the course of the daily workouts. This give us the opportunity to get to know you better; strengths, weaknesses, injuries and also fitness goals. Fundamentals sessions are mandatory for everyone who is new to CrossFit and recommended for anyone who has not done CF for at least 6 months or who is recovering from an injury.Contact us to start or get more information.

Special Groups

This is our comprehensive Fitness and Nutrition Program individualized to you and your goals. We can help improve your performance in a specific sport (running, triathlon, hockey, etc.) or establish a steady pattern of lifelong wellness to improve how you look, feel and perform every day. The program is 100% designed around you and your goals and guided by your coach. Contact an individual trainer to set up an appointment or get more information.

Stretch Mobility

Improved flexibility without hyper mobility is the goal of this class. If you are having difficulties with some of the movements or have reached a plateau with your fitness, then the problem could be a lack of mobility. In this class you will work on stretches and active release techniques and you will also be given the tools you need to facilitate your continued mobility everyday before and after the WOD. These classes are open to the public for a $15 Drop in fee. They are free to monthly members.


Open Gym

 There are a few hours during the week where the gym is open to monthly members who wish to work on the lifting program or do a WOD they missed earlier in the week. There is no drop-in during these times without prior permission from the owner.
